WB Montreal canceled PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game, likely frustrating console gamers that haven’t been able to upgrade yet. After the May gameplay demo, fans were less than enthusiastic about the upcoming gear systems. Gotham Knights has seen its fair share of controversies the last few months. We can probably assume that there are more Gotham Knights trailers approaching in the coming weeks - one for Red Hood and one for Batgirl. Today’s trailer follows in the footsteps of a similar Nightwing video from June 9 and uses the exact same structure. Suicide Squad, Gotham Knights and Hogwarts Legacy wont likely be present at E3 2021. Unlike its Arkham predecessors, gear is shaping up to be a major component of Gotham Knights. Here are the first 16 minutes of gameplay from Gotham Knights.

While the details on these two specific suits have yet to be released, past gameplay has shown that suits vary by their stat increases, rarity, and mod slots. Suits in Gotham Knights are more than just cosmetic changes. Interactive Entertainment will not be showcasing a bunch of key titles at E3 2021, including Hogwarts Legacy, Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The trailer also reveals two new suits, pictured below: It will be interesting to see a proper gameplay demo in the future to understand exactly how this ability will work.

In Gotham Knights, Robin also uses the Justice League’s satellite to teleport across short distances. He has some kind of slingshot made of light, he uses a hologram to distract enemies, he briefly turns invisible around the 0:34 mark, and his trusty staff makes a welcome return. While Nightwing’s combat demo looked pretty similar to his Arkham counterpart, Robin has a fresh set of gadgets. Nightwing and Red Hood got a gameplay demo as recently as May, but Robin hasn’t had the spotlight since the game’s original demo in August of 2020. It’s not like there’ll be a shortage of games though, as a number of other big players in the scene are all locked and loaded for the mad weekend ahead.Fans of the Boy Wonder, rejoice! This morning, WB Montreal posted a Gotham Knights trailer showcasing new Robin costumes and gameplay. There’s also Koch Media, which confirmed that Saints Row, TimeSplitters, Dead island, and Metro won’t be around for the deluge of world premieres this year at E3. After being heavily delayed earlier this year, I guess you could say that the game ran out of time. Ubisoft is also scaling back its plans slightly, as the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake won’t be at Ubisoft Forward. That, and the company’s recent merger with Discovery has probably thrown a few spanners into the gears of the video game division, that need to be sorted out. is saving its biggest guns for the upcoming DC Fandome event on October 16, which is where the Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad games were revealed originally. With all three games planned to release in 2022 following the delay of Hogwarts Legacy and Gotham Knights, it seemed likely that WB Games would provide more updates.

It’s not all bad news though! Back 4 Blood, the spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead that is starting to shape up nicely, will be making an appearance this week. Some of WB Interactive Entertainment’ most anticipated titles, Hogwarts Legacy, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and Gotham Knights - seem like they won’t be at E3 2021. That trio of games was revealed last year, with Gotham Knights originally being scheduled to launch later this year before the crushing weight of reality slapped that optimistic launch into the far-off region of 2022 instead. The latest expo may have featured lots of exciting titles, but several big hitters skipped the show entirely. While there will be a Warner Bros Games presentation, Gotham Knights, LEGO Star Wars, and Hogwarts Legacy E3 2021 appearances are looking very unlikely as the studio focuses on Back 4 Blood. Interactive, as a spokesperson confirmed to TechRadar that Gotham Knights, Hogwarts Legacy, and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League won’t be popping up at E3 this year. Just about everyone in the gaming industry is hot to trot and ready to show off some new games this year, but one publisher that won’t have much to share? Warner Bros.
